The highly efficient SmartPower module via its matching occupancy sensor automatically cuts power to LCD monitors, phone chargers, desk lamps etc when a trader leaves the desk, restoring power instantly on their return. The projected power savings on a trading floor are significant even before taking into account potential savings in air conditioning use and monitor life, with payback typically within 12 months.
